1 Day British Sector

Pegasus Bridge - Hear the amazing story of a Gliderborne assault led by Major John Howard. Hear how they secured their main objective within 12 minutes of hitting the ground. They lost one man and had only 12 casualties.

Merville Gun Battery - Hear the story of how Lt Colonel Terrence Otway and his men of the 9th Parachute Battalion seized the gun battery.

Ranville Commonwealth Cemetery - This cemetery contains 2560 men, hear some of their stories and the ultimate sacrifice they made.

Le Grand Bunker - This German bunker is 52ft high, and contains six floors. It gives a good insight into how the Germans were living and operations. There is an amazing story of a young British officer who managed to gain access into this fortified bunker.

Sword Beach - is on the Eastern flank of the D-Day landing beaches. The 3rd British Infantry Division and the 1st Special Services Brigade landed on thsi beach. Learn the stories of these units, and how they managed to take their objective.

Gold Beach - This beach was assaulted by the 50th Tyne Tees Division. One man, a Company Sergeant Major Stanley Hollis stands out. Hear his remarkable story of how he was awarded the Victoria Cross award on D-Day.

Time depending, there is also the chance of visiting Arromanches Mulberry Harbor, and Longues Sur Mer Gun Battery.
