1 Day Canadian Sector

Juno Beach Centre- This museum tells the Canadian DDay Story and is an excellent way to discover the history of Canada's role in WWII.

Juno Beach - Learn how the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division made their assault, and the personal stories of these courageous men.

Bernieres sur Mer - This is where the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada came ashore. You will see the bunkers and memorials and the famous QORC House that is featured in many DDay photos and paintings.

Saint Aubin sur Mer - The seaside town is where the North Shore (New Brunwick) Regiment came ashore and was also the location of several famous DDay photos.

Beny sur Mer Canadian Cemetery - This beautiful cemetery overlooking the coast is the final resting place of hundreds of Canadian soldiers, sailors and airmen.

The Advance Inland - On June 7th, the Canadian 9th Brigade began pushing inland towards Carpiquet airport. You will learn how this column was met in fierce action against the 12th SS, who's troops that day were led by Kurt Myer

Abbaye d'Ardennes 
- On the 7th June 1944, Kurt Meyer set up his Headquarters in this wonderful abbey, and learn how he had Canadian POWs executed. Pay your respect in the small memorial garden.
